Founded in 2010 in the heart of the Egbolom Oil Field, our journey began with a single vision: to bring efficiency and sustainability to an industry often criticized for its environmental impact. Our founder, Adedayo Amzat, saw an opportunity to disrupt the traditional oil and gas sector by incorporating innovative, eco-friendly technologies into the extraction process.
Golden Field Energies was founded with a singular, bold ambition – to become a dominant force in the energy, projects, and infrastructure sectors, with a particular focus on the dynamic oil and gas industry. From the outset, our mission has been clear: to identify, invest in, and grow a diversified portfolio of assets that shape the future of energy in Africa and beyond.
Our journey began with strategic legacy investments, including the acquisition of significant stakes in the Egbolom Oil Field and the VTT Modular Refinery from our predecessor, Zedcrest. These investments laid the foundation for Golden Field Energies, marking the start of our commitment to expanding our footprints in the oil and gas industry.
We continue to build on this legacy, actively engaging with key industry players, including joint ventures with NNPC on the OML 4 and OML 26 fields. These initiatives represent not just financial investments, but our belief in shaping the future of the sector.

Abolaji Femi-Ishola
Chief Executive, Tranergy & Co.
Bolaji is a transaction and subject matter expert in international energy and transport structuring and financing.
He serves as the Chief Executive at Tranergy & Co. Prior to Tranergy, Bolaji worked with Avante Capital as Vice President (Energy) and with HBoS Banking Group UK in credit risk for financial and commodity hedging transactions.
He was a senior transaction adviser on the US$1.65bn Oando Energy Resources acquisition of Conoco Philips Nigeria and lead adviser on the US$170m Mainstream Energy acquisition of Kainji Power Plc.
Bolaji holds a Masters in Shipping, Trade and Finance from Cass Business School, London and a Masters in Oil and Gas Economics from the University of Dundee, Scotland.
Olajumoke Delano
Energy Consultant & Multi-jurisdictional Lawyer
Olajumoke Delano is a seasoned Energy Consultant and Multi-jurisdictional lawyer qualified to practice in Nigeria, the United Kingdom, and the State of New York, USA.
With over 30 years of experience in banking, development finance, infrastructure, and energy sectors, she is widely regarded as a respected thought leader.
Previously Head of Regulatory & Government Relations at Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC), she is dedicated to advancing sustainable energy access by shaping policy, promoting regulatory awareness, and offering innovative solutions to sector challenges.
Mrs. Delano sits on the board of various organisations, including Graced Energy Professionals for Africa (GEPA).
Adedayo Amzat, CFA
Group Managing Director & CEO, Zedcrest Group
Adedayo Amzat, CFA, is the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Zedcrest Group, whose businesses include Securities Dealing, Retail Financing, Investment Management, and Principal Investing.
The Zedcrest Group was rated by the Financial Times as Africa's fastest-growing financial services firm in 2022.
He holds an Executive MBA from London Business School and is a fellow of the Institute of Investment Advisers and Portfolio Managers (IAPM) in Nigeria. He is also a director and Board Chairman at Ingentia Energies, operator of the Egbolom Field (OML 23).
Mr. Amzat is deeply passionate about people development through the Adedayo Amzat Foundation.
Joseph Adegunwa, CIMA
Executive Director, Finance & Strategy
Joseph Adegunwa, CIMA is the Executive Director, Finance and Strategy at the Zedcrest Group.
He is an astute finance professional with over 16 years of experience in Finance Management, adept at creating robust financial management and governance capability for rapidly growing organisations.
He served as Group Chief Finance Officer of ARM Holding Company, where he built a strong financial strategy including budgeting, tax planning, asset optimisation, and financial models for strategic corporate finance transactions. He also served as GCFO for Transnational Corporation Plc, a listed company with investments in Hospitality, Power, and Oil and Gas.
He holds an Accounting degree from Lagos State University, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), and a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
